Venus Williams joins sister Serena on Washington Kastles roster

Washington Post Staff Writer For the past decade, the Williams sisters have been the face of women's tennis. The two have squared off a total of 23 times, eight of those matches Grand Slam finals, with Serena holding a 13-10 record against her older sister, Venus. World No. 2 women's singles player Venus Williams has added another attribute to her resume: Author. The multiple Grand Slam tennis champion, fashion designer and business owner has collaborated with journalist Kelly E. Inquirer Staff Writer Venus Williams is more than just a tennis player. The world's No. 2-ranked women's singles player (her sister Serena is No. 1) owns a fashion line called Eleven. She's the chief executive officer of her interior design firm, V Starr Interiors. Williams also is part of the ownership group of the Miami Dolphins.
